PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2019    Co-curator of Shift: an exhibition of emerging female artists who took part in the 2017-2018 Foundation Mentorship Program through MAWA – Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art

2017 — Present    Studio Assistant to Sarah Anne Johnson: building figurative sculpture for New York exhibition with complex components: interlocking figures, moving limbs, extreme balance (e.g. top heavy piece on a spinning base), dramatic gesture, expressive facial expressions, all aspects of rubber and plaster mold-making, rubber life-casting, hair punching, casting hollow wax patterns for bronze casting, building custom shipping boxes, as well as oil painting, making intricate stencils, and supplies management.

2009    Conservation Internship with Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden:   competitive-entry internship to learn conservation skills and care for important bronze sculpture
